1. Who are these sessions for?
These sessions are for anyone who wants to explore their voice and build confidence. Whether you’re a beginner who’s just starting out, someone who’s felt self-conscious about their voice, or a more experienced singer who wants to reconnect with authentic expression, these sessions are tailored to meet you where you are. My approach works for those seeking a blend of vocal technique, mindfulness, and self-exploration.
2. I’m not a confident singer. Can this still help me?
Absolutely. Many people come to me feeling unsure or self-conscious about their voice. Together, we’ll work on building confidence and overcoming any doubts or fears. The aim is to create a safe space where you can explore your voice without pressure or judgment.
3. What will I experience in a session?
Each session is tailored to your needs, but in general, you can expect to explore breathwork, posture, the basics of creating and modifying sounds, improving vocal technique, and discovering how to express your voice more freely. We’ll also incorporate mindfulness practices to help you stay present and connected to your voice throughout the process.
4. Do I need any previous singing experience?
No previous experience is required. Whether you’ve never sung before or have been singing for years, these sessions are adaptable to your unique starting point. We focus on where you are right now and how we can work together to develop your voice.
5. How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your goals. Some people find a few sessions help them get started, while others prefer ongoing support to continue developing their voice and confidence. During our initial discovery call, we can discuss what approach works best for you.
6. What makes your approach different?
My approach combines vocal technique with mindfulness and presence. Instead of focusing solely on the technical side, we also work on the deeper connection between your body, breath, and voice. This holistic approach allows for greater ease and expression, helping you to sing more authentically and with confidence.
7. Can this help me outside of singing?
Yes! Many of the techniques you’ll learn—such as breath control, presence, and overcoming self-doubt—can be applied to other areas of your life, including public speaking, communication, and general self-expression.
8. How do I book a session?
You can book a session directly through my website. If you’re not quite ready to commit to a session, you can also book a free 20-minute discovery call to find out more and see if my approach is the right fit for you.
9. What do I need to prepare for the sessions?
All you need is an open mind and a willingness to explore. Wearing loose and comfortable clothing is also a good idea. There’s no need for any specific equipment or preparation beforehand, though if your session is online then having a quiet, comfortable space where you can focus and feel relaxed is ideal for our sessions.
10. How long is each session, and how much do they cost?
Sessions are 60 minutes long.
Initial Discovery Session £50: New students book an initial Discovery Session designed to map out your unique vocal journey. Together, we’ll dive into your personal goals, uncover any blocks, and discuss how I can guide you in overcoming them. Through mindful exercises and supportive dialogue, you’ll begin to connect with your voice in a new way, allowing for greater freedom and confidence in your singing. This session is the perfect opportunity to set intentions and map out a personalised path forward.
Series of 4 personalised sessions £120: Once you have completed the initial Discovery Session you are then able to book a series of four sessions for a total of £120.
